Launching a Luxury Hotel Website and Opening Digital Strategy

Client Overview

The Store Oxford is one of the most exciting hotel launches of 2024, housed in the iconic converted Boswell’s department store. As a new luxury addition to Oxford’s hotel market, The Store boasts a variety of revenue streams, including rooms, a spa, food and beverage offerings, and a stunning rooftop terrace. Umi Digital was approached during the hotel’s build phase to be part of the launch team, responsible for designing, developing, and launching a website that would support the grand opening.

The Challenge

For this project, Umi Digital collaborated closely with an existing design partner responsible for the hotel’s branding and certain UX/UI elements. Our challenge was to seamlessly blend their design vision with a website that effectively showcased The Store’s luxury offerings and provided an intuitive user experience across multiple revenue streams. Additionally, a sophisticated digital advertising strategy was required to drive awareness and bookings as the hotel opened its doors.
