The Umi Digital team attended the World Travel Market 2013 for four days at the ExCel Conference Centre.

The World Travel Market attracted 47,425 attendees last year and is the leading global event for the travel industry where you can meet with almost 5,000 exhibitors.

This year topped that, with all sectors of the travel industry from 184 countries and regions represented including tourist boards, airlines, cruises, hotels, luxury, responsible tourism and travel. From Cuba to New Zealand and from Iceland to South Africa, every country imagined was present and ready to show what their country has to offer with exciting and colourful costumes, dances and hospitality.

umi Digital attended at the Travel Tech Show at WTM, the biggest travel technology event in the UK, inviting all to come visit us at our stand. This section at the WTM provides focus and resources for the purchasing of technology. With our new product, the ‘Two Week Website’ – which gives independent hotels and travel businesses a fully functioning, beautifully designed website in just two weeks build time – exhibiting at the Travel Tech Show was a big success.

umi Digital also invited Visualise to showcase their ‘Oculus Rift’, a brilliant virtual-reality headset, so that visitors could get a 360-degree tour of London from the comfort of our stand! Check out our very own Chief Technical Officer, Marc, trying out the headset himself.
